Disclosure Regarding Compensation and Influence

The Web sites for Johnny Pixel Productions, Inc., doing business as Crenel Publishing ("the Company"), and other sites owned and operated by the Company, collectively "the Sites," may present a mix of content by a mix of contributors. For the purpose of this disclosure, the following classes of content contributors are defined:

Class A: Content that directly represents the Company and for which the content author, who may or may not be identified as the author of the content, receives compensation from the Company for the creation and use of the content.

Class B: Content that is authored by a Company officer, director, shareholder, or employee of the Company, who will be identified as the author of the content, and who does not receive compensation from the Company for the creation and use of the content.

Class C: Content that is authored by a third party over which the Company has minimal control, who will be identified as the author of the content, and who receives tangible or intangible compensation from the Company for the creation and use of the content.

Class D: Content that is authored by a third party over which the Company has minimal control, who may or may not be accurately identified as the author of the content, and who receives no compensation from the Company for the creation and use of the content.

Some links from the Sites may be directed to an external product purchase page as part of a program that pays Crenel Publishing for clicks, leads, and/or purchases. Crenel Publishing is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

The above paragraph is true for all classes of content. In general, links in any class of content may be monetized links to a third-party site that offers to compensate the Company for inbound clicks or for leads, purchases, or other actions taken by the person following the link. The use of automatic methods of monetizing links may make links in Class C or Class D content monetized links even if the third party author did not intend for the link to be a monetized link.

In addition to monetized links, the Company may accept various forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made on the Sites. Such content, advertising space, or posts may not always be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content. Third parties may be compensated directly by a fourth party without the knowledge of the Company, such as in the case of an affiliate link included in Class D content.

As a policy, compensation will not be accepted by the Company to provide specific opinions on or recommendations for products, services, Web sites, or other topics in Class A content, where such opinions or recommendations would deceptively conflict with those actually held by the Company or its officers, directors, and/or shareholders. The views and opinions expressed on the Sites represent those of the Company for Class A content. The views and opinions expressed on the Sites in Class B, Class C, and Class D content represent those of the author of the content.

For Class A content, if a claim is made that an identified content author is, or a reasonable expectation exists that a content author might appear to be, an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, the content author will only endorse products or services that the Company (Class A) or the author (Class B) believes, based on relevant expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote, or other representation made in any class of content about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider and it is your responsibility, as a potential buyer of products or services, to perform such verification to your own satisfaction. If you believe a content author has made a deceptive representation in Class B, Class C, or Class D content, you are encouraged to contact the Company promptly to investigate and resolve the situation.
